Quality Control
Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)
Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI), or the Final Inspection, is the most common inspection to validate your shipment’s quality standard. It usually requires production to be 80% completed and goods packed into cartons. Our trusted and thorough Pre-Shipment Inspection offers you the peace of mind that your order has been filled successfully before it is shipped.
We schedule our Pre-Shipment Inspection at least 2-5 working days before the planned loading date of your container in order to give you enough time to review our report and decide whether to release the shipment as planned, or to discuss corrective actions with the manufacturer.
Criteria for a Pre-Shipment Inspection
In our Pre-Shipment Inspections, we check for the following criteria:
Quantity | Product Appearance |
Performance & Function Tests | Workmanship |
Assembly | Accessories |
Material | Colours & Logo |
Size & Measurements | Weight |
Assortment | Carton Condition |
Barcode Scan Test | Packing & Marking |
Shipping Marks | Warehouse Condition |
Please note that if you have any additional or specific needs for your shipment, we are able to carry out a tailor-made inspection plan customized to suit your requirements.
In-Process Inspection
In-Process Inspections can be performed when at least 10% of an order is completed, but are typically carried out around 20-60% completion. During the inspection, we can detect problems at an earlier production stage which allows more time for correction if issues arise. We can also give a clear indication whether the production process is on schedule for shipment.

Production Progress Monitoring
When important goods are urgently needed or on a tight timeline, our inspection team can arrive on-site and remain at the factory throughout the production process. Our progress monitoring commences when most of the raw materials have arrived at the factory and finishes when all of your goods have been packed into cartons. While our services apply to the shipment as a whole, if you would like us to focus on certain aspect of the process, particularly those with a higher risk of quality issues, we are always able to accommodate.
Our inspectors will diligently monitor production, confirm the shipment schedule, supervise the factory’s internal quality control, and conduct random inspections of raw materials, as well as semi-finished and finished products. Once the production is completed and ready for shipment, we will provide you with a detailed outcome report.
Criteria for Progress Production Monitoring
During production monitoring, our review checklist includes:
Quantity | Company Profile |
Workmanship | Constant Observation |
On-Site Testing | Semi-Finished Product Check |

Container Loading Visual Inspection
If it is requested by either the buyer or the seller, we can perform thorough visual inspections of any shipment to ensure that the cargo is in sound condition and has been stowed properly. This inspection provides you the assurance that the cargo being shipped is the correct product that you are buying or selling, and that the respective cargo is air and sea-worthy.
Our standardized inspections include the following steps:
- Perform a thorough inspection of the container and truck to ensure there is no visible damage or leakage, and to check that the container is in good condition.
- Record all relevant container loading conditions, including weather, arrival time of containers, container number, and truck number.
- Inspect product packaging to confirm carton dimension, carton strength, and gross weight, as well as to check for any shipping marks.
- Perform our Container Loading Inspection. This includes verifying the quantity of goods intended for the container, their quality, and that the correct products are loaded as per the order. This is performed through a random sample check.
- Record and photograph the container loading process.
- Record the seal number of container.
Once these checks are completed, the container will be sealed with a Bheema Resources seal as proof of compliance and an inspection report will be issued to you to confirm that the shipment is ready to go.
